Chrome Water
Programs Used: Photoshop version 6

| (1) Create a 300x 300 canvas in photoshop.
(2) Select black as the foreground color and white as the background.

(3) Select Filter, Render, Clouds which will give you a cloudy background.

(4) Then select Filter, Blur, Radial Blur. Set the
amount to 50, blur method to spin and quality to good.

(5) Select Filter, Sketch, Bas Relief. Set the Detail to
15 and smoothness to 5, with the light direction coming from the bottom.

|
(6) Now, select Filter, Sketch, Chrome. Set the Detail
to 10 and smoothness to 3. And you've got your chrome water effect.
But we're not done yet.

(7) We're going to enhance this effect by changing the color.
The general color for water is blue, therefore I'm gonna make mine blue.
Select Image, Adjust, Channel Mixer. Set the red ruler to -200, don't
change the green ruler and set the blue ruler to +200.

(8) You can stop now if you feel satisfied with the color.
Or you can continue enhancing it by selecting Image, Adjust , Color Balance
or just press Ctrl B. Set the midtone color levels to -50, -30 and 50.

(9) Done! You now have the perfect chrome water texture
like the one below.
